Dinner’s On Me Ltd offers a service for a customer to purchase a wonderful dining experience as a gift for a third party recipient. For each order, Dinner’s On Me Ltd will provide a stylish and unique dining experience gift pack. Each beautifully designed pack contains a greetings card with a fully personalised message, an elegant dining experience gift voucher and a simple 1 step guide on how to redeem the dining experience. A dining experience gift voucher constitutes an agreement by Dinner’s On Me Ltd to provide a service to the recipient. This includes a friendly and efficient restaurant reservations service and dealing with the transfer of funds to the value of the experience sold.
Ordering & Payment
When you confirm your order with Dinner’s On Me Ltd you will be sent an automated acceptance by email. This email constitutes a contract of sale between you and Dinner’s On Me Ltd. The customer is responsible for ensuring that all details for the order are correct, so we advise you to check all information prior to confirming an order and on receipt of your email confirmation from us. We also advise the purchaser to retain a printed or electronic record of their email confirmation.
All online payments will be taken on behalf of Dinner’s On Me Ltd by PayPal, who will process all details. This service is exceptionally secure and is integrated into our website. At no time during an online payment will we have access to your payment details. Should you wish to speak to someone when making a purchase, one of our team can process your payment securely over the phone.
By purchasing a dining experience from Dinner’s On Me Ltd, the customer undertakes that the payment card is their own, there are sufficient funds available to complete the transaction and that all details provided are correct.
Redeeming a Dining Experience Gift Voucher
A Dinner’s On Me Ltd dining experience gift voucher is a recipient’s evidence of entitlement to the services agreed. On the rear of each voucher is a unique reference number and security code, which will be required to redeem the voucher and if you need to discuss the order at any time. Please do not ever reveal the security code to anyone apart from Dinner’s On Me Ltd. This is to prevent fraudulent misuse.
Redeeming a voucher is very simple. A 1 step guide can be found on the rear of each voucher, which will contain all information required. All that a recipient must do is make contact with Dinner’s On Me Ltd to arrange a restaurant reservation and transfer of funds.
Customers or recipients will not be able to redeem their voucher directly with any restaurant but must only make arrangements and restaurant reservations directly with Dinner’s On Me Ltd. Restaurants will not accept a Dinner’s On Me voucher directly. Please be aware that every restaurant that we recommend is very popular and as such is likely to be busy at peak times. You are advised to request a reservation through Dinner’s On Me Ltd giving as much notice as possible to guarantee your preferred date or time, especially if it’s for a special occasion. Vouchers can be redeemed 7 days a week, unless restaurant opening hours are different. In exceptional circumstances outside the control of Dinner’s On Me Ltd, the company may not be able to guarantee a reservation for a specific restaurant. The company reserves the right to offer a reservation at a similar restaurant.
Every voucher is valid for 6 months from the date of the order being placed. The expiry date will be clearly stated on the back of the voucher. You must make a confirmed restaurant reservation through Dinner’s On Me Ltd for a date before this expiry date or the voucher will cease to be valid.
Replacements
Every gift pack is checked by a member of our team to ensure that it is sent out in perfect condition and with the correct details. In the unlikely event that a mistake is made by Dinner’s On Me Ltd, we will supply a new voucher or gift pack completely free of charge.
Please keep the voucher in a safe place as Dinner’s On Me Ltd is unable to take responsibility in the event of damage or loss by the customer or as a result of theft, impersonation or other third party activities. If you lose or damage your voucher we can send out a replacement for a small administrative charge of £1.95. Replacement gift packs are available at a cost of £3.95.
In the unlikely event that a dining experience gift pack goes astray in the post, Dinner’s On Me Ltd can provide a duplicate. You must contact the company to expressly ask for a replacement pack. Dinner’s On Me Ltd will not routinely charge you for this service but reserves the right to make an administrative charge of £3.95 to cover the cost of issuing a new pack, dependent on circumstances.
Gift packs are sent out in plain and robust packaging to ensure security and protection during delivery. Dinner’s On Me Ltd cannot be held responsible for any damage that occurs as a result of negligence by a third party involved in the delivery process. We will however support the customer in any claim made against any such party and can send a replacement gift pack in accordance with the details above.
If for any reason a replacement voucher or gift pack is issued, the original voucher will be cancelled. The new voucher will contain a different reference number and security code to prevent fraudulent activity.
Refunds & Exchanges
Dinner’s On Me Ltd is happy to refund or exchange any unredeemed voucher within 7 working days of purchase for UK orders and 10 working days for International orders. This period will start the day after email confirmation of the order is sent by us. Notification must in writing, either in a letter sent by post or by email to the company at customerservice@dinnersonme.co.uk.
Upon receipt of this written notification of your wish for a refund or exchange, a check will be made to ensure that the voucher has not been redeemed. Once this has been established, the voucher will be cancelled instantly to prevent fraudulent misuse.
If you wish to make an exchange and there is a difference between the purchase values of the original dining experience and the new dining experience, this difference will be payable at the time.
If written notification of your wish for a refund or exchange is received by us before the dining experience gift pack has been personalised and sent out, there will be no charge incurred for refunds. However, if this process has already taken place Dinner’s On Me Ltd reserves the right to make a charge of £3.95 to cover costs already incurred.
All refunds will be promptly repaid to the credit or debit card used to purchase the order within a routine turnaround of 5 working days and an absolute maximum of 30 calendar days from notification. Apart from the circumstances outlined above payment is non-refundable and dining experiences are not exchangeable, unless covered by other relevant terms and conditions.
Problems
In the extremely unlikely event that a restaurant is unable to offer its usual services for reasons beyond the control of Dinner’s On Me Ltd, please contact the company immediately with full details of the situation. We will endeavour to resolve the situation to your satisfaction, which may include the fulfilment of a dining experience with an alternate restaurant. We regret that, in these exceptional circumstances, Dinner’s On Me Ltd is unable to reimburse travel, accommodation, or other such expenses incurred. For this reason we advise you not to make such arrangements until you have a confirmed reservation through Dinner’s On Me Ltd.
Dinner’s On Me Ltd only recommends the very best local independent restaurants in the UK. On rare occasions we may have to remove a restaurant from our recommended list for reasons beyond our control in order to maintain the very highest standards for our customers. If you have a voucher which has been purchased with the intent to redeem it at a restaurant where this happens, Dinner’s On Me Ltd guarantees to contact you and offer a choice of alternate restaurants and an extended expiry date. Any additional costs of voucher re-issue will of course be absorbed by us.
Feedback
We welcome your feedback on all dining experiences with our recommended restaurants. If you have a problem or complaint on the day, please bring it to the attention of a suitable individual at the restaurant as soon as possible, so that they have a chance to put matters right. If your problem is not resolved on the day, please make contact with us, including your voucher reference, participant and restaurant details and we will investigate. In general, we consider it unreasonable if you take no action on the day but then make a complaint at a later date.
Liability
Dinner’s On Me Ltd only recommends a restaurant and makes a reservation on behalf of the customer. All recommended restaurants have to comply with relevant Health & Safety regulations and to follow suitable procedures within their establishment and business to ensure delivery of a service that is of the correct quality and safe. They also must have appropriate insurance to cover any claims made in relation to services provided by their establishment. You, the customer, agree that in the extremely unlikely event of personal injury, loss or damage occurring to any person as a result of or in connection with services provided at a restaurant, to make any legal claims solely against the restaurant and to absolve Dinner’s On Me Ltd of any blame.
Dinner’s On Me Ltd expressly requests that any issues of quality or safety are brought to their attention at the earliest opportunity so that a thorough investigation can be conducted where necessary.
Inclusivity and equality
Dinner’s On Me Ltd is committed to ensuring that, where possible, our recommended restaurants offer suitable facilities for disabled customers. The customer is responsible for checking details of disabled access prior to their decision to place an order. Restaurants will of course be happy to meet such needs and ensure the very best levels of customer care for all.

All images on our website are intended to communicate the nature of our service. They do not guarantee the offer of any particular type of food or other service.
Miscellaneous Terms & Conditions
The retail prices of all dining experiences include VAT and all other applicable charges. These charges are for printing and manufacturing costs, postage, payment processing fees and any other relevant costs where applicable. Therefore the actual credit balance available for transfer to the recipient will always be slightly less than the full retail price. In the event of a change in VAT rate, Dinner’s On Me Ltd will clearly display a statement of any effect this may have on prices. All prices are correct at the time of publication and Dinner’s On Me Ltd reserves the right to change any price without notice. The current price of any dining experience will be made explicitly clear to all customers before orders are confirmed. There are no hidden costs in addition to the retail price as all retail prices are fully inclusive.
Dinner’s On Me Ltd is fully committed to providing the highest levels of customer service and we train our team accordingly. In order to do this, we routinely listen to and record telephone calls between customers and our operators.
All images, text, graphics and designs used in Dinner’s On Me Ltd gift packs, vouchers, promotional printed material and on the DinnersOnMe.co.uk website are protected by copyright. Any such material is not to be copied or otherwise used, either in whole or in part, without written permission from a suitably appointed representative of Dinner’s On Me Ltd.
All the terms & conditions contained in this policy apply with no exemptions as a condition of the purchase and redemption of all vouchers. They apply to both the purchaser and recipient. Dinner’s On Me Ltd reserves the right to change its terms & conditions at any time without reference to past or present customers. The most recent version of the terms & conditions will always be available on the DinnersOnMe.co.uk website.
These terms & conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer and are governed by and in accordance with English Law. The purchaser and Dinner’s On Me Ltd agree that any issues will come under the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
Trade Marks
Dinner’s On Me, DinnersOnMe.co.uk, Dinner as a gift, dining experience gift pack and dining experience gift voucher are all unregistered trade marks of Dinner’s On Me Ltd. The Dinner’s On Me Ltd logo is also an unregistered trade mark. Use of these trade marks and logo is forbidden without written permission from a suitably appointed representative of Dinner’s On Me Ltd.
